University Health Systems of Eastern NC

Problem:
The medical community in Pitt County faced two key challenges, one external (increasing competition from other health care systems) and one internal (lack of brand consistency among the various constituents of the system, e.g., the Cancer Center’s logo bore no resemblance to the Rehabilitation Center’s).

Solution:
To bring consistency to the diverse set of brands, Forma developed a system that allowed either the parent organization (University Health System) or the offspring (e.g., the Cardiovascular Center, or the Children’s Hospital) to be dominant.

Results:
The increased consistency and the flexibility in application has allowed UHS to drive recognition of their brand to new levels among many audience populations.
