About Forma

Forma was founded in 1987, and we’ve spent decades developing effective brand strategies and executing digital marketing initiatives for life science companies.

Who We Are

We’re a team of marketing strategists and scientists helping life science brands differentiate themselves, align internal teams, expand their digital footprint, and grow their business.

Forma is based in Raleigh, NC and we work with both domestic and international clients. For nearly 30 years, David has provided strategic and tactical life science marketing expertise in the pre-clinical and clinical research, drug development, medical device and life science sectors. He has a keen understanding of scientific and medical concepts and a proven ability to translate them in ways that improve sales and marketing alignment and that can be applied to communications of all types, including lead generation campaigns, content marketing, and other thought leadership initiatives, websites, videos, brochures, and more.

Dan Stipe | Vice President of Industrial Design

Archetype: The Innovator

Dan is a creative problem solver. He has a broad range of experience, which enables him to enlist different points of view to create unique solutions. He focuses on the intersection of Art, Engineering, and User Experience. He believes products should be designed to work for people. For most of his career, he has been designing medical devices, medical products, and laboratory diagnostic instruments. Prior to his career in design, he held management positions in several small and large businesses. He’s both a thinker and a doer, with a sense of humor.

Marty Fitzgerald | Director of New Business Development

Archetype: The Maverick

Marty is Forma’s sales and marketing professional with 25 years of experience in all areas of life sciences, medical device, and pharmaceutical product development and commercialization. He’s a proven leader with the ability to assemble and motivate high-performance commercial and cross-functional teams, developing and effectively managing strategic partnerships, and cultivating strong working relationships with key opinion leaders and professional/patient organizations.

Kim Wentworth | Director of Client Strategy

Archetype: The Explorer

As one of Forma’s Account Managers, Kim strives to work strategically with our clients to make each engagement as successful as possible. She acts as both the voice of the client and the voice of Forma’s team which ensures each project is completed with the client’s best interests in mind. She has over five years of project management experience and is well versed in the Life Science industry; she has worked with CROs, CDMOs, Medical Device, among other Health Solution companies. Kim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Christopher Newport University and is an active Certified Nurse Aide.

Katie Garrett | Account Manager

Archetype: The Protector

Katie brings over 8 years of combined experience in marketing, sales, and project management to the Forma team. In the life science industry, she is experienced in working with a range of companies including CROs, CDMOS, and other life science service providers.  

Whether it is managing a website design overhaul or providing strategic direction and insight for a positioning project, Katie enjoys building collaborative relationships between clients and the Forma team.

Amanda Jackson | Art Director

Archetype: The Artist

As Forma’s aesthetic brain, Amanda balances a passion for branding, creative problem solving, big picture thinking and attention to detail. Her work has been focused on helping life science companies make the complex simple and creating innovative solutions that exceed the obvious and create the exceptional.

Amanda is versed in design and development in all aspects of touchpoint collateral, including websites, corporate identities and logos, brochures and printed materials, and infographics.

Jordan is Forma’s full-stack digital marketing manager. He uses an interdisciplinary set of skills to deliver data-driven solutions and superior results to Forma’s clients. With a background in marketing and technology, Jordan’s knowledge of web development, content marketing, inbound strategy, email outreach, and search engine optimization has helped dozens of clients achieve unprecedented growth and expand their digital footprint.
